about auctions is that you 
never know what you're going 
to find, what will speak to you,
and make you long to 
take it home.

whispered my name yesterday:

A silver plate
golf trophy inscribed with:

a couple of old books,
Godey's 
Lady's Book
and Magazine
dated 1856

and the beautiful
old oil painting,
of a couple, seemingly
carefree, drifting
down river
in a canoe.

I love when I
hear my name 
being called!

Wow!

I just found out that

both of my venues,

The Barn Show

and 

Chartreuse and Co.

are included in the

new edition of

Flea Market Style Magazine

as two of the three best

shows to shop for vintage

goods in Maryland!

How cool is that?

I'm also thrilled that

my friend Michelle's shop,

The Vintage Source,

in southern Maryland

was also included!

I felt that way yesterday
when I drove up to 
Walkersville, Maryland
to help celebrate the launch
of my friend Cassie's
new venture, Persephone
 at
Wild Rose and Co. Marketplace.


Cassie and her friend,
Sarah, The Thriftress
have joined creative
forces to sell
their unique style of 
home decor and
it was an absolute joy
for me to be there
to share the moment, and
wish them well!
